How to connect the Y cable:
Please connect the male USB-A cable with the USB data symbolto your car USB CarPlay port, if you don't know what is your USB carplay port , please connect your phoe via cable and check which port gives you carplay or android auto on the screen of your car.
Please connect the male USB-A cable with NO symbol to a power USB, if your car doesn't have additional power USB port , please get a USB cigarette lighter adapter.
Please connect the female USB-A cable to the USB-A cable provided inside the adapter box.
Please connect the USB-C cable provided inside the adapter box to the Adapter

The adapter is of good quality but it doesn’t work in my triton for some reason don’t know why of tried it about a dozen times but it will not pick my car radio up and it is a genuine Mitsubishi car stereo bit off a shame as I wasted $200.00 .

Works well but It takes over a minute to connect to the head unit from start up, that said it connects every time unlike when I used to connect my phone via cable which only seem to connect to Apple CarPlay randomly.
