When we bought our used Toyota Prius, we were disappointed that, despite the salespeople's assurances, our trim model only supported Apple CarPlay, not Android Auto. We are an Android house, and thus out of luck. Except, we found the SmartWorld adapter which let us connect our Android phones to the car which thinks it is getting an iPhone. We are very happy customers!

The unit works perfectly. My new car only has CarPlay, and I have an android phone I’m not ready to give up.
It’s very easy to set up and once it is, looks and act no different than any in car android auto. Definitely worth the cost.

I have a 2024 Porsche Macan and as it only has Carplay, and being an Android user, I needed a solution. Very pleased with the unit, it hooked up seamlessly and I love that I can now access Waze, Tunein Radio etc.. Great technology!

I am so happy I finally have a thingy that can show maps on the screen in my ldv D90.
I would give it 5 stars but 8 have to unplug and replug everytime I start the car... This could be cos I've not done it right. Same with the phone settings. I set up voice control changed permissions but the revert back everytime I switch car off.. if I've not done it right would love to know what I've done wrong and change this to 5 stars.

I bought a Smart World Apple Carplay and Android Auto Wireless Adapter CP-AA. Velco up in the top of the front console storage bin. One i changed out the cheap USBC cable for a better quality one it worked fantastic in my MG

Got Google Waze on an Android phone hooked up in about 20 seconds in my MG3 with the dongle that member David Guevara recommended... Such an improvement on the in built factory Nav.
Of course my YT Premium music is also available along with calls, messages etc.

Overall it has been money worth spent. Most of the time it connects within a few seconds of starting the car. Occasionally it doesn’t connect which is annoying, but in general I am very happy with the device.

FYI - I'm really enjoying my CPAA adaptor for my LDV T60. I changed a setting on my android phone to auto connect a few weeks , to make sure my Android Auto on my phone was on auto launch and it works flawlessly every time !!!

purchased the dongle and it works fine. Can even charge the Samsung phone with the wireless charger.
Waze is seamless.
Only downside is having to go to exit, to open the air con or other menus , then go back to bottom right play button to open android auto screen.
Basically it works, cannot say hey google and makes calls etc as it did on real android auto running cars.
Worth $235 to not have to use an apple phone.

Amazingly easy setup in my GWM Ora that's only got Apple support. Now whenever I get in the car it automatically connects my One+ Android phone and displays My Music and Google Maps on the display of the car. Controls work from steering wheel as well as touch screen. Highly recommended. MAGIC!

Works great with after market Pioneer head unit that had included only Apple Carplay. Now I get to experience the Android Auto with my car. It is trully great to have it. Even buttons from the steering wheel work perfectly fine, and I can skip songs. It was definitely worth it.

The Smart World wireless Android auto adapter works a treat. Plus improves any audio from your android phone dramatically. The Bluetooth audio in these ldvs are crap. Must be super low bit rate.

I did have some issues with it so I contacted David from Smart world his experience and customer service was excellent he supported me right through the process I needed to do to update the program. hi all i would just like to share some information regarding the android car play adapter cp-aa, i got the information from a earlier post here.
i have a mg3 2022 and the unit just works flawless
you order and pay in us which for me worked out at about $250.00 au the unit is posted from within Australia.
Everything just works the steering wheel buttons maps music it even still reads the text out allowed. the unit is quite small and i was able to use double sided tape to hold it in place and you can hardly see it. i could not be any happier and during the last week it has not missed a beat. setup took all of about 3 minutes.

After ordering a new 2023 ldv i came across this site and watched video on android abdapter and was impressed and thought i would give this a try and gee not only me but the car dealer couldnt believe how easy and good this product is as he was telling customers to mirror off their mobiles getting average results .best money spent for a vehicle which doesnt supply android auto.
