Update steps via USB flash drive:

1、Prepare an USB flash which less than 32GB, and format it to FAT32.

2、Put the firmware I sent you into the root directory of your USB drive

3、Plug the product into the car USB port, the product do not connect to the phone, Just stay at UI interface.

4、Connect the USB flash to the product's USB port, it will shows updating, and please do not power off during the upgrade, then it will shows upgrade is completed.

5、Remove the USB flash, unplug and re-plug the product to the car.

Easy set up if you follow the clear instructions. Usually takes a minute to connect but does so without fail. Once connected however the songs tend to skip fairly regularly making the listening experience rather poor.

David from Smartworld has been on here for over 15 months.....back in the early days of this page, we were trying to sus out the issues with AA & ACP, just as new members are trying now. I originally purchased Carlink 4.0 (2 in fact) and couldn't get them to work. I contacted Dave and he helped me try and work through it. I purchased a dedicated AA device through Smartworld (at full price). In return, David was granted permission to post on here as it was, and still is a hot topic and annoying problem with KIA and Hyundai cars. David has helped many a member on here with his service and advise...if member on here find the posts annoying, then please just scroll on....his contribution to the group has far outweighed the minor inconvenience of seeing a post from him plugging his business devices, to help you guys out....

David Guevara I was hesitant to get one of these given the cost, however after dropping my phone a few times and damaging the power input I was left with no alternative other than take a punt. I can confirm that it works perfectly on my 2023 BT-50. Wireless android auto kicks in within 5 seconds of starting the engine and all the controls work. As an added bonus the cable that comes with the unit is the perfect length to reach into the lower glove box.

I has issues with the cpaa device, where android auto would not work properly, steering wheel controls didn't work on the Haval Joilion 2022. David was a great help. He tested all the devices he had and recommended this one. This works perfectly. Steering wheel controls works, no lags or disconnections and is faster then cpaa. On the upside you don't need to disconnect the default Bluetooth connection to the car.
