purchased the dongle and it works fine. Can even charge the Samsung phone with the wireless charger.
Waze is seamless.
Only downside is having to go to exit, to open the air con or other menus , then go back to bottom right play button to open android auto screen.
Basically it works, cannot say hey google and makes calls etc as it did on real android auto running cars.
Worth $235 to not have to use an apple phone.

Amazingly easy setup in my GWM Ora that's only got Apple support. Now whenever I get in the car it automatically connects my One+ Android phone and displays My Music and Google Maps on the display of the car. Controls work from steering wheel as well as touch screen. Highly recommended. MAGIC!

After a bad experience with another brand I bought Smart World's product. It was a bit more expensive but after 3 weeks in operation I am extremely happy with it's performance. In fact I totally forget it is installed as it's out of the way and so seamless.

Works great with after market Pioneer head unit that had included only Apple Carplay. Now I get to experience the Android Auto with my car. It is trully great to have it. Even buttons from the steering wheel work perfectly fine, and I can skip songs. It was definitely worth it.

I did have some issues with it so I contacted David from Smart world his experience and customer service was excellent he supported me right through the process I needed to do to update the program. hi all i would just like to share some information regarding the android car play adapter cp-aa, i got the information from a earlier post here.
i have a mg3 2022 and the unit just works flawless
you order and pay in us which for me worked out at about $250.00 au the unit is posted from within Australia.
Everything just works the steering wheel buttons maps music it even still reads the text out allowed. the unit is quite small and i was able to use double sided tape to hold it in place and you can hardly see it. i could not be any happier and during the last week it has not missed a beat. setup took all of about 3 minutes.

Works very well after buying several leads and getting drop out after drop out. Bit the bullet and got one for my Kia Sportage 2022 model. After a couple of hiccups. Contacted Smart World gave me some fixes applied them and hasn't played up since.

It worked great straight out of the box in my 2022 LDV D90 Diesel. It occasionally loses connection while driving. I just pull out the usb connector from the vehicle, wait a couple of seconds, then plug it in again. Everything resumes where it left off. Other than that, great product.

Bought a convertor from Smart World for our LDV T60 Max 2023
(so we could use Android Auto) and it is excellent works like a treat and doesn't miss a beat.
Had tried another version but just wouldn't work.
The Smart World version is the best choice for anyone that owns a LDV vehicle and wants easy connection and smooth operation using Android Auto.

The Carplay is brilliant. My LDV won't allow Android connection. I've now got it direct to the car.
I had a few problems to start with and Smart World were getting back to me everyday to sort it out. I wasn't expecting that kind of service. Customer service is outstanding. I would recommend them to everyone. Thanks.

I bought this for my new MG 3 because it only has Apple Car Play. I can't understand why Android Auto is now included, but be that as it may. I read the instructions and connected my unit as instructed. on the first attempt there was no connection. I went through the set up process again and the connection was made within 1 minute. I located the home screen and found the apps that I use mostly on my phone. I used Google voice to set my location. Navigation to the location was precise and clear. in the background I had my favourite radio station streaming in the background.
The next day when I started my car the connection to my phone was automatic and took only a few seconds. I had set my phone maps to a predetermined location, when to connection that location was shown on the monitor. Very impressive.
I also found that all the programed buttons for Apple Play on the steering wheel worked perfectly with the adapter.
All in all, this was a perfect investment for me..

I love how this device displays my Android Auto in a full screen experience. It is also nice for my phone to automatically connect to my Infortainment System (though I do sometimes have to click the button to re-start to get it to connect).

Works occasionally first time when I plug my Samsung phone in, other times I have to disconnect the unit from the car plug it back in and it may work straight away, usually spend 5-6 minutes to get it to work, when it does connect it works well.

Hi guys, love it when it works, it works well with my work phone Samsung s21.
But not on my new Samsung a03,I got it to go once but haven't been able to again ,my s21 is my work phone, but they are very similar, I am using in a 2020 ldv t60. I updated the ph ,but now I'm thinking the a03 just isn't a good enough ph even though it is running Android 12.

I have purchased a new LDV T60 Max. Delivery is expected in February 2023 . This is what I purchased this adaptor for, as I have a Samsung S22 and it only has Apple car Play.
I did test out the unit on my partner's MG and instantly I had android auto working on the head unit.

The CP-AA Apple Carplay and Android Auto Wireless Adapter has worked extremely well and exceeded my expectations. My brand of vehicle LDV T60 caused some installation issues and David was immediately on line and stayed there until the unit was working perfectly. Cannot recommend the service and follow up highly enough.
